Installing New Teams MSIX on master images fails with “Parameter Incorrect” due to UNC path handling.

Symptom Matrix:

Error 0x80070057, Reason: Insecure URI, Log: AppxDeployment.

Architectural Root Cause:

The bootstrapper cannot parse URIs when the source package resides on a network share with specific security headers.

Surgical Fix:

Copy MSIX locally to C:\Temp and use teamsbootstrapper.exe -p -o “C:\Temp\MSTeams-x64.msix”.
